Ireland has its own way of promoting its products: displaying them as award-winning. As I find this phenomenon really fascinating, I have started a collection of pictures: in almost every supermarket, you will find products marked « award winning ». It is not always clear which institute, fair or committee awarded the famous « prize », but the point is that the product is an award-winning product, so obviously you have to buy it. This can involve daily consumer goods, but also often shops, even services: there is an award winning tour at Malahide Castle for example. I let the following photos speak for themselves.
We should add one: Ireland, award winning in the duration of its pandemic restrictions, surprisingly I cannot find a sign for this one.
